低溫翻修胎的七大優點

1.耐磨 LONGER WEAR
低溫翻修胎所使用的預先加硫面膠(PRECURED TREAD)係選用最好的材料以油壓機的高壓力,在柚壓機上之平板模(FLAT MATRIX)內,壓力最多的橡膠,並將橡膠中的空氣壓擠出來,密度大,質地堅實,非常耐磨,能跑出高溫翻修胎的兩倍里程。
2.不易刺傷 FEWER PUNCTURES
由於密度堅實,非常不易被刺傷、刺破。
3.胎體壽命延長 LONGER CASING LIFE
高溫翻修胎使用高(153C)及固定金屬模來進行加硫作業,胎體被迫變形來適合加硫模,因之大為減弱強度,致使紗布層易生分離,因而縮短胎體壽命。而低溫翻修胎因加硫作業不同,並無此現象。在美國低溫翻修胎至少可翻修四次,最多層達八次,而且都能跑高速公路。在台灣因路面條件不如美國,但至少可翻修三次,如果採用高溫翻修胎,同樣的路面情況至少可翻修兩次,而且因為使用高溫易損傷胎體,產品成功率不可靠,第二次的高溫翻修胎,跑高速公路危險性非常大。
4.平衡性較佳 BETTER BALANCE
低溫翻胎採用的預先加硫好的胎面膠,質地均勻,密度堅實且每一吋厚度相同,將胎體打磨後,塗上膠糊,貼上此面膠,務必得到較佳的平衡性。
5.不必常換輪胎而延誤時間 LESS DOWNTIME
低溫翻修胎,胎體壽命延長,面膠耐磨可跑高溫翻修胎的兩倍里程,面膠密度堅實,不易剌傷,因此,不必常換輪胎,延誤時間。
6.低溫翻修胎產品價值高
低溫翻修胎,胎體壽命長,翻修次數多於高溫翻修胎,可跑里程數兩倍於高溫修胎,可節省車主非常可觀的輪胎成本、經濟、實用又安全。根據美國翻胎協會(NTDRA)的統計,1983年全美18,000,000修卡申輪胎的翻修胎中,低溫翻攸胎佔百分之六十,約為高溫翻修胎的1.5倍,而且隨著輻射層輪胎、鋼絲輪胎的逐漸增多,低溫翻修胎所例,務必有逐漸增高的趨勢。
7.對製造商而言,低溫翻修胎是先進而且賺錢的翻修輪胎
低溫翻修胎不但在品質及製造技術上遠優於高溫翻修胎,在加硫設備的投資上,因低溫翻修一個加硫罐可同時加硫10修卡車輪胎,而且輪胎的結構不論是交叉層、輻射層所使用的加硫罐都一樣,不似高溫翻修胎,因輪胎規格、結構的可同就須有不同的加硫設備,而且每一加硫模每次只能加硫一修輪胎,是故低溫翻修胎的投資成本遠低於高溫翻胎,而且品質好,產品價值高,市場的銷售力務必高出高溫翻修胎,實在是一先進而且賺錢的翻修輪胎。
 

SEVEN OUTSTANDING CHARACTERISTICS OF PRECURED TREAD TYRE RETREADING

1.Longer wear
The precured thread for tyre retreading is composed of quality natural rubber by use of high presssure froom hydraulic press to allow flat matrix to contain maximum quantity of rubber and dispell air inside falt matrix so as to form the tread with maximum desity and rigid enoough to have longer wear to double that of high heat tread tyre retreading.
2.Fewer punctures
On the strength of high density and rigidity, it is not easily vulnerable to punctures or breaking.
3.Longer casing life
Since high heat tread tyre retreading calls for a heating as high as 153 and curing by use of fixed metal mould that causes deformation of casing, this kind of process curtails the strenght of casing to a significant extent that it would separate the layers of nylon gauge and reduce the life span of casing. However, such defects do not exist in the proces of curing for precured tread tyre retreading. In the States, they have a practice to have hteir tyres retreaded for 4 times at least, and may up to 8 times, and such retreaded tyres are permitted to run on freeway. In Taiwan where road surface is inferior to that of the States, tyres can be retreaded for 3 times at least, but the number is reduced to a maximum of 2 times if the retreading is done by high heat. Besides, the casing of high heat re treaded tyres is vulnerable to punctures to the degree that the product reliability is challenged, par ticularly the second time retreaded tyres by high heat would involve in high risk along freeway.
4.Better balance
Precured tread rubber is characterized by unified, even quality together with a high degree of rigidity. After buffing, casing is applied with cementing and then glued onto tread rubber so as to form a much better balance.
5.Less downtime
Since precured tread tyre retreading can extend the life span of casing together with a rigid tread rubber not vulnerable to puncture and can wear longer than that of high heat tread tyre retreading, it has less down time.
6.Precured-tread retreaded tyre has high value
On the strength of the fact that precured tread retreaded tyre has extended life for its casing, the numberof retreading is bigger than that of high heat treated retreading, and has longer wear than the of high heat treated retreading by 2 times, it can cut down a great deal of tyre cost for car owners, plus practicability and safety.According to a statstics released by NTDRA of the States, among 18 million pieces of retreaded truck tyres in the States in 1983, 60% of them were of precured tread tyre retreading, that was about 1.5 times than that of high heat treated ones, and there existed a ten dency towards gradual increase in precured tread tyre retreading in keeping with the increase in radial and steel wired tyres.
7.To manufacturers, precured tread tyre retreading means high-tech and lucrative.
In addition to supremacy in product quality and production technique of precured tread tyre retreading over that of high heat treated retreading, the curing press of the former can accommodate 10 pieces of truck tyres at one time and can treat both the cross ply and radial ply which means less investment in curing facilities. This differs from that for high heat treatment of retreading that calls for different curing facilities in accordance with different types or specifications of tyres, and each curing mould can accommodate one tyre only.Thus, the investment in precured tyread tyre retreading is much lover than the of high heat treated retreading, while the former has better quality and value to the degree that it sells much better. Therefore, we can say that precured tread tyre retreading is a hi-tech and lucrative business.
